On February 5, 2011, The French Pastry School and Merchandise Mart will host the unique and exciting event, For the Love of Chocolate, where guests can partake in the incredible delights of…

  • COCOA CUISINE, with a complete dinner menu prepared by top Celebrity Chefs of Chicago, Las Vegas, and California. Stay tuned for details on the full menu and contributing Celebrity Chefs.
  • COCOA SUTRA, featuring the sweet concoctions of a full Chocolate Bar, desserts and confections from the best pastry chefs and chocolatiers of Chicago and beyond, live music, belly dancing, body painting, live sugar and chocolate demonstrations showing gravity defying edible sculptures!
  • and presenting the new COCOA CANDY LAND where human candy canes, lollipops, Tootsie Rolls, jelly beans, and chocolate bars dance among the guests, cocoa cotton candy clouds drift over head, and Marie Antoinette serves chocolate cake!

Located in one of the largest buildings in the world, the Merchandise Mart, next year's gala will be a feast for the senses, with exquisite cuisine, live music, dancing, celebrity chef tastings in the modern LuxeHome Kitchens. Enter the Merchandise Mart from the main south entrance (near the river) to experience the chocolate extravaganza of the century.
